Celebrate Love!

Treats for your sweetie! I was in Whole Foods yesterday and saw these extra sweet ‘I Love You’ cupcakes. They also had the pretty rose cupcakes pictured below, along with an array of other delectable Valentine’s Day themed treats.

My mom got this in her fortune cookie the other day and she saved it for me.

~ Your heart is a place to draw true happiness ~

Happy New Year!

This Sunday also marks the start of the Chinese New Year -  the Year of the Tiger.  According to the Chinese Zodiac I’m a Dragon. Fortunately for me the Dragon & the Tiger get along swimmingly so I can expect a good year . . .phew! I hope it’s a great year for you too.

These pretty stamps commemorating the Chinese New Year are currently available at the Post Office.

Wishing you a new year filled with much love & happiness,

and I hope that your Valentine’s day is spent with those you love ~ xoxo!

A lovely celebration of love! :)

Alexis & Grant

June 13th, 2009 – Alexis & Grant were married at the historic Bradley Estate mansion in Canton, Massachusetts. I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful event with Laura Leigh Images.  Alexis and Grant are not just beautiful on the outside. They were truly one of the most kind, down to earth, lovely couples I’ve photographed. I felt honored to be part of such an important day in their lives. I wish them every happiness as they begin their life together.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Please feel free to leave a comment. I always welcome and appreciate feedback.

Wishing you much love & happiness!

Making Up for Lost Time

I have a new blog and this is my first post! I’m pretty excited about it.  My old blog just wasn’t cutting it. It was out of commission for the latter part of last year. My plan with the new blog is to intersperse important happenings that got missed among my current event posts. The following is an event from not too long ago but it feels a little distant as I sit here with snow covering the ground outside.

Last September I was invited to attend the closing ceremony for the summer cultural school at WAT BUDDHABHAVANA Buddhist Temple in Westford,
Massachusetts. It was such a beautiful event. I love visiting the temple.  Everyone there is so welcoming, warm and friendly. Especially the monks. They always make me feel like I’m family.

The little Laotian girls were so sweet and absolutely adorable!

Signs like this one, all with different messages, are hung all around the grounds. I love them.

There was a dedication ceremony for this little, gold Buddha statue.

One of my best friends and me at the ceremony. Another friend, Barbara Peacock was also there and took this lovely photo for us.

If interested, you’ll find more of my photos of the temple posted here.

Thanks so much for checking out my first post! Please feel free to leave a comment. I always welcome and love feedback.

Wishing you much love & happiness!
