Halcyon Avenue

These are some recent photos from an ongoing personal project. I’m fascinated by old cemeteries and can easily spend hours walking around a cemetery reading tombstones. I find it very life affirming. It’s a stark reminder of the passage of time and how fleeting a human life is. Some may find it morose. I find it very interesting to consider the lives of people that may not have been thought of in a very long time.

I happened upon this little cherub with shades on.
